Brief Break

I know it's been a while, but I have been extremely busy. Most importantly, my hubby and I just had a fabulous anniversary party with close friends and family. I probably should have included all of the details along the way, but I will share those with you soon.

In addition to planning our fabulous party, I celebrated my 30th birthday and it was wonderful. Bridal Addition will be back on schedule in the upcoming days. I have some good things lined up for you all.

I personally have done a photo booth for a party and here's what i did: I bought the longest table cloth that I could find at Ross to serve as my backdrop then I bought a pair of ready made curtains (I honestly didn't need this). I also picked up a few props from the dollar store (I went with whatever theme was in season). I got home and tidied up my laundry room, covered the washer and dryer with a piece of black cloth and put up the tablecloth with tacks. Then I tacked up the ready made curtains to finish it off. I added a bar stool from the kitchen and put all of the props in a crate for easy access. Voila!!! My photo booth was done.

Who am I?

My name is Aarika (pronounced like Erica). I love to shop, sing and find new things. I am a true Georgia Peach - born and raised in Atlanta. I was married to a wonderful man about a year ago and we are happy living life and walking in God's abundance.

Like most other recent brides, it's hard to get out of the wedding planning mode and looking at all of the wedding obsessions. This blog will give me my outlet to share what I find with you.
